During the Friday, Oct. 9 "Cort and Fatboy" broadcast, we talked about "Trick 'r Treat" -- a really well-made homage to '80s horror-anthology flicks that inexplicably went straight to home video. (I remember talking briefly with writer/director Michael Dougherty about this project way back in 2006.)
Also discussed: the Coen Bros.' latest, "A Serious Man" -- plus "Adventureland," "Anvil!," Jesse Eisenberg vs. Michael Cera, and my sad inability to get much interested in "Dollhouse."
