UPDATE: There's now a t-shirt sporting the above cover for sale at CortAndFatboyStore.com.
So last Friday, Cort and Fatboy and all their regular guests united onstage at the Bagdad Theater for a live year-end supershow called "Faces of Meh."
It was a blast, and I was sort of blown away by the turnout -- 400 people showed up, including two guys who drove up from San Francisco to see Cort and Fats do their thing in person. (Here are posts recapping the evening from Byron Beck and Chris Walsh.)
For my segment, I made a "Cort and Fatboy" children's book. ("Children's book" may not be entirely accurate.) The fantastic distressed cover colors are by my pal Adrian Wallace.
You can download "Cort and Fatboy and the Secret of the Buried Unicorns":
- as a PDF right here
- or I've posted the whole thing after the jump.
Oh my god, this was brilliant. I'm just now getting the chance to listen to Faces of Meh and we just got finished reading through the book. Wow. I have to contain my laughter because I'm at work, but jesus. Hilarious. I'm looking forward to issue #2.
I must link to this on my own blog when I get home tonight ... brilliant.
