During the Friday, Dec. 10 "Cort and Fatboy" broadcast, we de-briefed on "Faces of Meh," and I eventually reviewed the gloriously over-the-top psychological- and body-horror flick "Black Swan."
Also: My awkward-pause-deflecting superpower. "Who would win in a fight: Liam Neeson or Danny Trejo? Does simply putting a sweater and a hat on anything transform it into Fatboy? What classic bit of '80s crap serves as the plot inspiration for the new Muppet Movie? Who's playing The Beastie Boys in a movie about The Beastie Boys directed by a Beastie Boy? Why rental DVDs having no special features is a great thing and not at all some sort of consumer travesty. James Cameron fixes 'At The Mountains of Madness' with a simple suggestion. And Peter Jackson seems hell-bent on making 'The Hobbit' way more pouty and serious than it needs to be."
